COAL BINS: TRANSPORTING COAL BY RAIL

Tradecorp recently completed a project building coal bins for a customer where a new stretch of 179km railway has recently opened making available to coal companies in the Lahat regency, infrastructure that can increase efficiency and profit. These coal bins are designed to work in conjunction with rail transportation increasing not only the payload but the frequency of payload by reducing transportation time. These units have a payload capacity of 24.27 tons and have internal and external support trusses to increase the structural integrity of the bin, preventing the walls from warping. These bins also have a custom designed lockable hinge door which was designed in conjunction with the railway system to operate on an automatic unloading system. This system prevents to the hinge door from buckling, bending and opening during transportation. Finally, these coal bin units are fitted with a unique drainage system which prevents water accumulation added extra water weight.
